This place is SO good! And service is kind, friendly and attentive. My fiancé and I were heading back home from visiting relatives in Fresno and we decided we wanted Mediterranean food. Most places in Fresno were closed (after 5pm on a Sunday) but this place was open and has a great rating so we stopped in. It did NOT disappoint! For an appetizer, we shared a small hummus. Presentation was beautiful and the olive oil in the center was a nice touch! For entrees, I got the mix grill plate (1 chicken, 1 beef, 1 lamb skewer) with a salad and yellow rice and my fiancé got the lamb kebab plate with pita bread and yellow rice. We both agreed our plates were delicious! I loved the side salad dressing with olives and feta cheese. The only comment I had was that the chicken kebab was slightly dry but the flavors were spot on. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and portions. We left feeling very full. I wish we lived closer to this place because we’d stop in weekly!! Give it a try if you live nearby. We’ll be returning!
Dont let the negative reviews on this place keep you from coming here. Those who left the negative reviews do not know good food. Take the time to visit this place on your own and form your own opinion. The food here is amazing. It's not too salty at all. I have eaten here almost daily for the last two weeks. The foods flavor is always consistent. The food is so fresh, and the flavor is amazing. The staff is always super friendly and inviting. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Frenso. I recommend the chicken Shawarma pita and dinner plate. Those dishes are my favorite. But seriously, you can't go wrong with any meal there. The hummus is delightful. The vegetarian plate is very tasty as well. That plate comes with a tasty arrangement of foods. The plates are always plated so beautiful as well. You can tell the owner of this restaurant cares about his customers. He isn't there to just make money. The food there is made with love & care. 10/23/24: Update to existing review. Not only does this place have amazing food. But the owner has a heart of gold. I offered to buy a homeless guy a meal & instead of taking my money. They feed the guy a free meal. Also, one day, I saw a stray dog, I asked for a container to give the dog water in. Not only did I get the container, but they also gave me meat to give to the dog to eat. Compassion for animals & homeless people is something many people have lost. But Simply Pita hasn't, They see the importance in all life.

I had the lunch special chicken kebab plate and it was delicious! The chicken was seasoned and juicy (the garlic sauce complimented the chicken so well), the rice was flavorful, I love a good mediterranean salad, and the hummus + pita bread hit the spot! The owner is always very sweet and I promised him I’d come back more often, can’t wait :)
Maybe the best pita sandwich of all time. Portions match the price. Portion is enough for one person for less than $10. Even on hot days, they got the ac on. Definitely a plus.
The staff here is so kind and outstanding that it is a part of what keeps bringing me back to this restaurant. Aside from the impeccable service the food is the best Mediterranean food I have had in Fresno, probably ever. They make their pita bread in house daily, how can anyone even compete with that. All of their ingredients are fresh and you can taste the difference.They have definitely found regular out of me and if you give them a try I am sure you will become one too.
Love the food here. We have tried a little bit of everything on the menu. Gyros, chicken, falafel, hummus and the baba ganoush. Everything has been great. Their pita is really good too, it’s lighter and has a better texture than other pita. Their salads are good, the rice is nothing special. Maybe if it had a garlic sauce it would be elevated some. All in all, I love the food. Always fresh, a friendly service. Glad we gave them a try.
I love this place so much. We have been eating here since 2020 (old location) and it has never disappointed me. There was a time I would come in 3 days a week because I craved it. My favorite plate is the chicken kabob plate with yellow rice and salad. Buy extra pita bread you won't be disappointed as Mohammad makes it fresh with his pita oven! Extra garlic sauce is a must.
Food was phenomenal! Secret garlic sauce goes with everything. Chickan Pita and Jerusalim Mix Plate - grilled vegetables; yellow rice was very tasty. The staff was very kind and passionate about food and service! Thank you!
Simply delicious!! Small restaurant but they were quick to take our order and the food was fresh, the meat was tender, the flavors were mouth watering and service was wonderful! Sit in or it take out and would 100% recommend this place!
